Excuse me if I'm just being stupid but how does brewing the potions work? Do I have to hold down the button or is there just a low success rate in the beginning?
Putting new potions at the top of the shop would be really helpful for trying to figure out effects.
Is there any way to know when I've exhausted an area for books? After you find a few, your Explore success rate goes down, but I'm not sure when I should stop wasting gold somewhere.

i tried to follow it but nothing happened i literally have all the things and guranteed q4 dark potions
Call me dense but I have no idea how to complete this game. I'm trying to riddle it out but am having no damn luck. Am I needing to change the upgrade levels of the potions? If so then to what? There are too many variations for me to try and brute force it so I'm close to just giving up.

Check the insights you got from your upgrades, there are hints in there.
EDIT: The upgrade levels aren't important, and the condition to get the other ??? is simple to reach.
That is so much reading to go through.... this is just feeling like a chore now
I can't tell what these hints are meant to be, so I'm just gonna give up on this because it's just becoming infuriating now. This isn't relaxing and I'm not having fun at this point which is quite sad because I was enjoying the story that was going along with the game

What does any of this actually mean because I've went through and made plenty of Hades potions in every location and research plenty of times in every location again and I've found nothing
How do I get the final message from Hermes? I got all 3 ???'s.
I have no idea. I can't get one of the spells. And I can't solve any of the puzzles.
May I ask what you aren't able to find? It's worth noting that sometimes, exploring won't give you a book even when you don't have anything; you should find all the books of a certain level within the same set of areas.
The second fire recipe. I think it may be bugged.
I'll have a check later. It should be in the City with the other level 2 potions, though.
I'm having the same issue with that 2nd Fire potion (even after spamming in the city to try n find it), as well as missing two of the ??? texts (I have the Song of Pholus, but not the other two, whatever they are)

Onice you have all 3 ???, explore the final area a few more times and it should appear. (This might have been unclear ingame, sorry.)
I spammed the explore button in the final area, but I still couldn't get it. tbh, I had to look at the code to figure out the ???'s. I saw the bookpools and saw the "tendency" requirements and linked that with the potion lores to get the ???'s books. I can't find '3', the final message, anywhere in the bookpools, so I wonder if that's the problem.
